  • This has ensconced my life for FOUR WHOLE DAYS, which, honestly, feels a bit excessive, but I wanted to be thorough. So now, I sincerely hope that you enjoy the orange marmalade of my labor, decanted and disposed of entirely at my discretion. I scraped it together off the adrenaline sidewalks and plated it exactly how I see fit, health regulations be damned. That’s the advantage of working alone: no hovering clipboards and self-indulgent administrative planners taking credit for nothing or divesting themselves of the same. No cooling…

  • … Ultimately, we’re living in a mental health Satanic Panic. Much of this content is often coupled with vivid imagery and hellish struggles and battles against an unknown, nebulous cabal on the more overt end, or is alluded to when people discuss how others might see themselves as “evil” or “bad,” with the edge that maybe they really are. This sensationalistic language, as seen in the metaphors “hellish struggles and battles,” is often used to increase the threat to even religious levels and instill fear and alarm.

… In turn, the influencers invoke power beyond the dreams of avarice, teasing us with rebelliously sexy secrets of the ‘masters in dark psychology.’ Or, on the lighter end, a way to achieve a lifestyle of inner peace devoid of any unwanted conflict, just the psychodrama you already consent to like a video game. Through an analysis of these metaphors, we gain an understanding of the circulation of fear stories, reminiscent of the broader discussion of manipulation. …

  • “But, to me, life’s a do-it-yourself karaoke rig set up in the supply closet of your now-discarded coming-of-age montage you were sure would be a bestseller. Every song is one you used to pretend didn’t mean anything, but you just happened to know all the words.”
Just fur, collapse, and a painfully accurate memory. A post-collapse transmission from a half-wolf, half-skunk who saw everything and left a bootprint in the timeline dirt.

“You matter to you because you matter to you”.

“Perfect is what broken people call it when you stop making them uncomfortable.”

  • This is a poem I published approximately around January 14th of 2025 on asherwolfstein.com. At this time I don’t have a more accurate date, but I will. This was pulled from an archive.org snapshot.

  • In another post that was deleted (and so will now be an ‘archival post’ when re-published) I talked about projects I had worked on in late-2022. One of those is the now-infamous (a fact!) Small Cumfurts series by yours truly. Background This was originally published in 2025, but it was written in 2022 (not 2023 as I’ve previously written). Specifically on September 13, 2022, six days after Getting Biblical was written. Both were written in one day. This discrepancy, combined with other factors, leads me to quote the…

  • This is a “retro review” I wrote for GamingFurever.com which, for a while seemed defunct to me, but now I guess it back up again (I just checked now)… however, my reviews don’t seem to be there anymore. I can’t say that I played this game in my nostalgic childhood, getting up way early in the morning in my mickey mouse one-sy. That’s because it never really came out in the United States as far as I know. So unfortunately, I had to experience this game as a translated ROM on my handy emulation device (that I connect to my color stereo CRT).
