    Post

I’m already getting reports that posts are being blocked in places for breaking “X’s security policies,” and yet, I’ve received no email, and as far as I can tell, no marks against me. Strange. Anyways… If that’s going to be the case then I’ll just repost everything here (which I was planning to do in a better blog post regardless). I want to ask though, what about my security? • An essay about the tendency of self-appointed “journalists” to attribute motives, pathologies, and narratives onto others. This text argues against claims of targeting, harassment, and obsession, and for data, reciprocity, and taking people at their word, especially when moral narratives are constructed ex post facto.

My evidence for submission are observations made since I first became aware of Rand at the age of 12: Peikoff spending decades basking in the glory of this mindless throng of “New Intellectuals” (of which I used to be one), acting as almost a wrathful saint in the annals of a dead and closed philosophy; and individuals such as Stuart Hayashi spending years hesitating in fear to fully denounce his shortcomings.

I am a recluse, so I point to Stuart not out of personal animosity, but because he is one name I can highlight as an example of being a drop in a sea of disappointing cowards.
