People make so many assumptions, imposing them on others willy-nilly and without care, thinking their version of reality, their thoughts, are the only thing that matters. But when it bites them in the butt, they whine and complain, not connecting the two together.

They assume Maus is the fiery, dramatic Latino, the meaner more dangerous between us, and also the one with the most authority (because *he* isn't mentally ill, he's quite 'sane'), and so, maybe he needs to be pushed aside if they are to affect me, to teach me, to handle me.
