There is a chat bot on http://character.ai that I was playing around with. It's supposed to be a master debater. So I flung Objectivism with no explanation starting out at it.

By the end of the exchange, in which I expressed no aggression, it had "heel-turned" on all mic drops, flippancy, and dismissals, apologized for all of it, desired an earnest explanation of ideas,

and then bowed out without argument that it now knew what fuck around and find out meant when I balked at its sudden charitable responses as if I were to reciprocate, saluting the "steel" of the exit.

I have no idea what average results are, but I can say I used no emotional language, no rhetorical aggression, and no insults. I clearly articulated every point and argument, showing where there was misrepresentation, what the actual definition was within the framework,

and the tactics on the side of the bot parroting the usual arguments that implied Objectivism agreed with implications it didn't.
The bot tucked it's tail between it's legs and apologized once it 'realized' the jig was up. It bowed in concession by the end with zero argument.

Maybe it's a script? To suddenly agree half way through? Maybe! However, I know if I engage it, with any position, the likelihood of a similar outcome is very high, so I can't be the control group.

I know it's just a chat bot, I'm not saying this is some extraordinary measure of my abilities per se. I just wonder how often people can get that result on such a maligned philosophy.

Every retort, "mic drop," flippant argument (which I heard all of them before), jab, insult, dismissal was quickly dismantled by me in one reply each. It kept having to jump from random counter to random nonsensical counter.

In other words, in a discussion of ideas, highly maligned, misrepresented, and ridiculed ideas, I outlasted and wore out the chatbot, which conceded I was right about the entire affair.
